About LinkMidas and the way we price link data
We build a small, cheap API over one link graph and write about valuing links the way an appraiser would. This page says what we run, what we do not, and how to reach us.
What we run
One index, one API. It covers 181,132,097 domains and 2,774,625,913 domain-to-domain links, which is about 798.5 billion backlinks, all gathered by our own crawler. We name no outside data source because we use none.
The DR we report is our own metric with a public formula, round(100 x log(ref_domains+1) / log(20,000,000)), so you can check it yourself with a calculator. It resembles Ahrefs DR and Moz DA in spirit but is not the same number.
Payment is prepaid credit, 1 credit = $0.0001, topped up in USDT on TRC-20. Sign-in is by Google account. New accounts receive $100 of credit.
Contact runs through the account page. Billing questions are easiest when you quote the date and the action from your call log.
Everything on the site reads from that one index. There is a free online explorer for casual looks and a link data API for scripts, and both bill from the same balance.
Why we write like appraisers
A link is an asset with a price, so we use a valuer's vocabulary: book value, comparables, asking price.
Rankings are the usual starting point. Nobody can promise them. A valuer starts from what can be counted today, records the date, and moves on. That habit runs through every page, which is why each worked example says in plain words that it is an example.
The pages cover scoring a link from API fields, the cost per authority point against a subscription, redirects that strand link value, and a free first look. If a page ever contradicts the live price list, the price list wins and we will fix the page.
Why does it matter? It matters to a buyer. Because a link bought on a hunch cannot be re-examined, while a link bought on a dated sheet of readings can be compared with next month's readings. The comparison is how you learn which of your instincts were right.
Where the index falls short
It is a monthly snapshot. Fresh links wait for the next pass.
Coverage of very small or brand-new domains is thinner than coverage of large ones, because a young site has had less time to be linked and crawled. If a domain looks empty, check again a month later before you decide it has no links.
We also do not rank pages for keywords, track positions or estimate traffic. For that work, buy Ahrefs or Semrush, or read Search Console.
What we will and will not do
Say where the data is thin
The index refreshes about monthly. Recent links may be missing and we say so on every page that matters.
Skip the promises
No ranking guarantees, no safe-link claims. A score is evidence, and the decision stays with you.
Stay narrow
For keywords, rank tracking and a daily crawl, Ahrefs and Semrush are fuller. We cover link data at a low price per call.
Publish the arithmetic
Costs, formulas and limits are on the page, not behind a sales call. Start with the field reference.
